Five hundred years before present day, war raged between humankind and witches - vicious creatures who unleashed a Black Death upon the world. Armies of witch hunters are lead into battle by their great and mighty leader, Kaulder. Having lost his wife and child to the Black Death and hungry for vengeance, Kaldaur manages to kill the all-powerful witch queen and brings the war to a close. But upon her dying breath, the queen curses him with immortality.
