For the past decade or so, Charles has worked closely with acclaimed director Ridley Scott, not only documenting his recent work but revisiting his earlier classics such as ‘Alien’ and ‘Blade Runner’.
It’s impossible to ignore the problems, but if you’re able to find a way to look past them, it still has a lot going for it.
‘Exodus: Gods and Kings’ is a grand re-telling of a very old and familiar story. The beginning drags, and the ending is soft, but the spectacle of the middle makes the film worth seeing.
