Sergeant Fletcher leads the posse with the help of Aboriginal tracker Archie and local landowners Fred Smith and Mick Kennedy. Fletcher is desperate to capture Sam and put him on trial for murder – but Sam is an expert bushman and he has little difficulty outlasting them. Eventually, for the health of his pregnant wife, Sam decides to give himself up. He is put on trial in the courtroom of Judge Taylor. But will justice be served?

Their marriage quickly deteriorated and when we pick up the story Alice is having an affair with a young surfer. Alice becomes the thread that binds three tales of murder, blackmail and revenge when Jack hires Charlie, a mercurial assassin. But there is more than one person gunning for Alice. An unexpected threat comes from the hands of Nathan, an unassuming dentist attempting to pay off his gambling debts through a risky life insurance scam, whilst a small town Lady Macbeth masterminds the scheme. A corrupt cop also tries to get his cut while Alice's love interest hopes to rescue the young woman from the assassin's telescopic sights.
