'TROPFEST' STORIES
It's Tropfest's 20th birthday, and to celebrate, SWITCH went along to chat to some of the black carpet-goers what Tropfest means to them.
This year marks the annual Tropfest Short Film Festival’s 20th anniversary. Such a milestone did not go unnoticed, and this year's festival was choc-full of pomp and ceremony.
The film 'Lemonade Stand' took out top prize at this year's Tropfest. Alethea Jones was awarded first prize by a stellar judging panel of Oscar Winners.
Tropfest began 20 years ago as a tiny film festival at the Tropicana Cafe in Darlinghurst, Sydney. Now the event has
become an annual tradition for movie lovers across the country.
