Set in post-World War II America, a woman, Maja, is rebuilding her life in the suburbs with her husband, but when her past trauma confronts her in the form of her next-door neighbour, she seeks vengeance for the heinous war crimes she believes he committed against her back in Germany - but what are the chances it's really him she's stumbled upon, half-way across the world?
