THE SALESMAN

Emad and Rama are a husband and wife who also happen to be actors. Taking on the roles of Willy and Linda Loman in a local production of Arthur Miller’s Death of a Salesman, the themes of the play stealthily begin to make themselves felt in their lives off stage. They are forced to evacuate their collapsing Tehran apartment building, and within the first few days in their new home Rama is attacked by an intruder. As Rama attempts to navigate her new-found fear, an impasse grows between them as Emad longs to violently revenge himself against Rama’s attacker.
