A seasoned airline pilot miraculously crash-lands his plane after a mid-air catastrophe, saving nearly every soul on board. After the crash, Whip is hailed as a hero, but as more is learned, more questions than answers arise as to who or what was really at fault and what really happened on that plane?

‘Flight’ aims high, and certainly seems to think it reaches there, but in actuality, the results are bloated, dull and unsatisfying. This seems like an insubstantial piece of material for Zemeckis.
While one should expect more and, quite frankly, better for this great director, glimpses of the old Zemeckis are evident somewhere within the chaos.
