In the year 2159, two classes of people exist: the very wealthy, who live on a pristine man-made space station called Elysium, and the rest, who live on an overpopulated, ruined Earth. Secretary Delacourt will stop at nothing to preserve the luxurious lifestyle of the citizens of Elysium – but that doesn’t stop the people of Earth from trying to get in by any means they can. Max agrees to take on a life-threatening mission, one that could bring equality to these polarised worlds.

SWITCH sat down with star of 'Elysium', Sharlto Copley, to chat about what it was like working on the film with Matt Damon and Jodi Foster, and how a real gentleman can play such a very, very bad guy.
Without well-developed characters to act as a conduit for these messages, they simply fall flat on deaf ears, surrounded by explosions and gunfire.
