BELOVED

In Paris, 1964, carefree young Madeleine steals a gorgeous pair of Roger Viviers from the shoe store where she works, and whilst wearing her sexy spike heels is mistaken for a prostitute — an error that signals the next direction her life will take. But there’s a further radical turn when she falls for and marries a suave Czech doctor Jaromil, leaving Paris for Prague – and then his infidelities and the arrival of Russian tanks in the city in 1968 lead her back home.
