DIRECTOR
THE TRIP TO SPAIN (2017)
Starring Steve Coogan and Rob Brydon. Directed by Michael Winterbottom.

Following from 'The Trip' and 'The Trip to Italy', this third instalment sees Steve Coogan and Rob Brydon again play semi- fictionalised versions of themselves travelling through Spain. Taking in restaurants, gentle bickering and impersonations this time in Cantabria, the Basque region, Aragon, Rioja, Castile-La Mancha and Andalusia. Deliciously entertaining and full of food, fun and frivolity, director Michael Winterbottom once again delivers another exceptionally organic and mouth-watering comedy that warrants a handful of viewings.
THE EMPEROR'S NEW CLOTHES (2015)
Starring Russell Brand. Directed by Michael Winterbottom.

World-famous British comedian and activist Russell Brand joins forces with acclaimed director Michael Winterbottom on a polemical documentary about the financial crisis and gross inequality we currently face.

Starting with the genesis of today’s economic policies, with the arrival of Milton Friedman’s school of thought in Reagan’s leadership and Thatcher’s UK, the film explores how these policies have come to dominate the western world. The rich have got richer; where a CEO of a major British company used to earn 10 times the average wage of his workers, now they earn 200 times. According to Oxfam, the richest 80 people in the world own as much as the poorest 3.5 billion. It would now take 300 years for the average cleaner, cleaning the offices of his senior boss, to earn the same salary taken home by the same boss last year.

THE TRIP TO ITALY (2014)
Starring Steve Coogan, Rob Brydon, Rosie Fellner, Claire Keelan, Marta Barrio, Timothy Leach, Ronni Ancona, Rebecca Johnson, Alba Foncuberta Bufil and Flora Villani. Directed by Michael Winterbottom.

Rob Brydon has been commissioned by a newspaper to go on a driving tour of Italy from Liguria to Capri, partly following in the footsteps of the great Romantic poets. He asks his old friend Steve Coogan to go with him. As they journey through the beautiful Italian countryside they talk about life, relationships and their careers whilst stopping at wonderful restaurants and hotels along the way.
THE LOOK OF LOVE (2013)
Starring Steve Coogan, Anna Friel, Tamsin Egerton, Stephen Fry and Imogen Poots. Directed by Michael Winterbottom.

Welcome to the scandalous world of Paul Raymond, entrepreneur, impresario, and the “king of Soho.” Seeing mediocrity in the smutty sex parlors of London, Raymond unveils his first “gentlemen’s club” in 1958 and gradually builds an empire of clubs and erotic magazines that brings him vast wealth while affronting British sexual mores. It also brings a litany of obscenity charges, a failed marriage, troubled children, and personal tragedy.

THE TRIP TO GREECE
Starring Steve Coogan, Rob Brydon, Kareem Alkabbani, Marta Barrio, Cordelia Bugeja, Richard Clews, Justin Edwards, Rebecca Johnson, Claire Keelan and Timothy Leach. Directed by Michael Winterbottom.

When Odysseus left Troy it took him ten years to get back to his home in Ithaca. Steve and Rob – on their very own odyssey, ten years after their first trip together - have only 6 days. On the way they argue about tragedy and comedy, myth, history, democracy, and the meaning of life.
ON THE ROAD
Starring Leah Harvey, James McArdle, Shirley Henderson, Paul Popplewell, Jamie Quinn, Ellie Rowsell, Joel Amey, Theo Ellis, Joff Oddie and Madeleine Shenai. Directed by Michael Winterbottom.

North London band Wolf Alice have had a rise to prominence that might have been bends-inducing were it not for their tightness as a group. In summer of 2015, the deliciously dark, hook-and-riff-filled sound of their debut album, My Love Is Cool, inspired the NME to crown it: "the debut of the decade". As a measure of their impact, BAFTA-winning filmmaker Michael Winterbottom joined the band on the road, capturing 16 different gigs and daily life backstage.
