Siblings Addison and Liza are thieves, on the run across a freezing landscape, with stolen cash from a casino heist gone wrong. Jay is a troubled ex-boxer, heading home for Thanksgiving with his parents on their remote property. When Addison kills a state trooper, he and Liza split up to make a run for the border. Addison takes to the snow-covered woods. Jay and Liza cross paths in the nearest town, stranded together in a bar overnight from a raging snowstorm. Their connection is instant, and as the attraction builds, they start to realise that fate has brought them together.
