An intimate portrait and celebration of Diana Vreeland (1903-1989), an influential woman of the 20th century who changed the way fashion, beauty, art publishing and culture was presented to the mass media. A driven career woman, she became the first ever Fashion Editor for Harper's Bazaar, Editor at Vogue and at age seventy began work at the MET Costume Institute in New York. Vreeland was infamous for her provocative, daring "Why don't you" column, launched the career of Twiggy, styled Jackie O and set new standards for the way exhibitions were presented. This documentary illustrates being a woman with style, creativity and ambition can allow you to be successful at any age.
